One of the first assignments that I did for Deere & Co. after completing my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. This new design of the dozer provides improved visibility to the operator, and improves fatigue life. The linkage mechanism, called Pushframe, and the dozer blade were prototyped and tested in John Deere Dubuque Works, Iowa, US. The design in in production now branded under the ‘K Series’ dozer line . A patent has been filed on this design.
